I am an experienced machine embroidery ( embroidery thread ) and digitizer, but there are many more experienced than me out there, these are just some things I have picked up along the way that I thought might help others.

If you’re new, machine embroidery, then I recommend that you read this article. If you are an experienced seamstress, it’s always good to read things still you never know when you will learn something new.
The first thing I have to say that patience is the best friend is a seamstress. Things will go wrong. That is good ,next ,you will study how to repair them.
The Basics
It is important to make sure your design is appropriate for your fabric.
• You would not put a very dense high stitch count design on a light weight fabric, this will completely ruin the flow of the fabric, For light weight fabric chose delicate designs.
• When stitching a creation on a towel or a high pile fabric ,it is necessary for you to have a dense design that is not going to disappear into the pile.
• For stretch fabrics, don’t try to do anything to large, remember the fabric stretches but the embroidery ( embroidery threads ) won’t.
Stabelizers
A brief guide to stabilizers’
• Use Cutaway on Unstable (e.g. stretchy or knitted) fabrics .
• Tearaway on Stable (e.g. woven) fabrics.
• Washaway for freestanding lace or garments or some really cool 3D stuff with organza. This is if you want to get rid of the stabilizer altogether when you have completing the embroidery.
• Water soluble plastic film topping on top of towels and many knits.
Bobbin fill
All bobbin fills are not equal, I have had 3 embroidery machines and they all worked much better with different bobbin fills. If you make use of not correct bobbin fill ,it is possible that you may gain several exact terrible consequences. Ask fills your computer through the distributor and coil experiment until you find that works best for.
