Im 16 and i have been trying to get a part time job for some time now. I have a resume and on it i have all the things needed and for job history i have listed that i worked at a grocery store ( i put all the information needed ) and that I was a paper boy. What are some tips that could help me get a job sooner ?
It’s always helped me to call the places that you put in applications. I usually call 4 or so days after I put in the applications. It’s easy to get lost in the shuffle if a place gets tons of applicants, so calling just to check on your application and ensure that they’re hiring can be helpful. Also, always be friendly and dress nicely, even if you only go in just to drop off your resume.
